It is so much better for everyone to recognize it than for me just to decide in isolation. Here’s a good example: the fifth dan test is done in front of the other students, right? And the candidate carries the good wishes of all the others with him. I feel that it’s really important that a student should carry the blessings of the others to his new grade and feel their support and joy when he gets it.”
