„Vannak is emberek, akik elejönnek hozzám, és nem látják mennyire valós és őszinte az amit tanítok, s elmennek. A tanítvány elidegeníti magát a tanártól: van aki azt hiszi tanul, vagy tetteti, hogy érti, de igazából nem tanul, nem ért sokat – sok ilyen ember van. És ők igazán szomorú helyzetben vannak szerintem. Ez a saját vágyaik és ambícióik eredménye. Kisiklik a saját „Utcai-autó nevezetű vágyuk”! De a tanítás maga nem egy olyan nehezen értelmezhető dolog – ameddig szereted.

Olyan, mint a mondás, az elkötelezett feleségről, aki bárhol hajlandó élni, vagy bármit hajlandó megtenni a szeretett férjéért. Valaki, vagy valami amit képes vagy szeretni egy egész életen át: az az ami igazi. Képesnek kell lenned bízni benne; a tiszteletnek és a nagyraértékelésnek ott kell lennie… A tisztelet és a hála soha nem szabad, hogy elfelejtődjön. De, ha valami olyannak kezded el adni a tiszteletedet, ami kitalált, hamis, nem őszinte, akkor aztán igazán bajban vagy. Ez az, amiről az igazi edzés szól. Nem valami komplex dolog.”

But if you start giving your respect to something that is contrived, false, not genuine, then you’re really in trouble. That’s what real training is all about. It’s not some complex concept.”
